When booking a vacation rental property through Destin Vacations Direct, our guests may optionally choose to purchase Vacation Rental Insurance and Security Deposit Protection to help protect their vacation investment. Vacation Rental Insurance may be purchased for 6.5% of the total rental amount and Security Deposit Protection may be purchased for $39. Either of these products can be purchased up to the later of 30 days prior to check-in or the date final payment is due if booked within 30 days of check-in.
