Meet Our Management Team…
Destin Vacations Direct is a family owned and locally operated business
with over 100 years of combined individual experience in beautiful
Destin and South Walton County. Having been a part of Destin’s growth
from a small fishing village to a premiere vacation destination provides
us with a unique perspective and knowledge of this special area.
Destin’s soft sugar-like white sand beaches and emerald green waters
continue to draw families from all walks of life to our service portal,
and we feel thankful to have a part in making sure our guests and their
families have an enjoyable time while in Destin on vacation!
We take great pride in our team’s mission to provide positive memorable
experiences for our guests and owners alike by exceeding expectations
through exceptional service.
J. Todd Oden, General Manager. With a degree in
Business Administration from Florida State University in 1996, Todd
began his career with Sherwin Williams where he learned service was the
key to true success. Serving as General Manager of Coastal Equipment
Rental, Inc. of Destin and South Walton further developed his managerial
and service skills while becoming a respected business leader. Todd is
married and lives with his wife and young son in south Walton County.
Brian K. Oden, Chief Financial Officer. Holding both Accounting
and Marketing degrees from Florida State University, Brian began his
career with a local CPA firm then joined Coastal Equipment Rental, Inc.
in 1997. Experienced in all aspects of business accounting and finance,
Brian is most conscientious in his performance of duties relating to
trust, honesty and fiduciary responsibilities to Owners and Renters.
Brian is married and lives with his wife and young daughter and son in Santa
Rosa Beach. He is active in Village Baptist Church in Destin where he
serves as Deacon and Sunday school teacher.
Jon F. Oden, Operations Manager. Jon oversees all field
operations with specific responsibilities for property inspections,
maintenance, housekeeping and customer service. With operations
experienced gained since 1997 in the fields of property and equipment
maintenance and real estate development supervision, Jon adds strength
in areas vital to the success of Destin Vacations Direct. Jon resides
with his wife and two daughters in Santa Rosa Beach and is also active
in their church.
Barry K. Oden, Consultant. As a real estate broker and developer
in the Destin area since 1986, Barry serves as an invaluable resource
for our team. His experience includes key positions with Sandestin
Resort and Silver Shells of Destin. Barry is a graduate of Mississippi
State University with a Master’s degree in business administration and
resides with his wife in Destin.
Brigette D. Oden, Rental Manager. Brigette is a people-oriented
and skilled administrator with valuable experience in handling all
aspects of vacation rental management. She is well respected for her
professional approach to detail, friendly demeanor and positive
attitude. Brigette enjoys the vacation rental business and takes
particular satisfaction in helping guests achieve a memorable stay. She
is the wife of Brian Oden, a proud mother of two and Sunday school teacher.
Erin E. Oden, Owner Relations Manager. Erin holds degrees in Mass
Communication and Business from Florida State University, and is a
licensed Florida Real
Estate Agent. Her strong administrative and personal communicative
skills combine with a broad knowledge of the resort rentals and sales
markets throughout Destin and South Walton making her an effective
Property Owner advocate. Erin's experience and education
complement her focus on our company goal of maximizing Owner's
rental return. The mother of two daughters, Erin enjoys helping others,
is community minded and active in her church.
Cary Ann Oden, Housekeeping/Quality Assurance. Cary Ann provides a determination
to ensure our team’s mission through a careful attention to detail. Her
significant contributions are focused to achieve success for our
guests, owners and company. Cary Ann is the wife of Todd Oden and the
proud mother of two boys, Noah and Oliver.
